The Jackie Clarke Collection
Owing to the generosity of Mrs. Anne Clarke, both the Irish nation and the world have gained access to this unique and priceless collection. Jackie Clarke (1927-2000) was a genius collector, from the age of 12, he amassed a collection of Irish material comprising over 100,000 items, spanning 400 years.
Known locally as the Abbey, this Dominican Friary was founded in the 13th century. The site contains a wealth of carvings including Gothic and Renaissance tomb sculptures, well preserved cloister and the only sculptured 15th century high altar to survive in an Irish monastic church.
Westport House & Country Park
one of Irelands most beautiful and historic homes, located in a most spectacular setting. Located in the grounds are many attractions for children of all ages, including a log flume ride, swan pedal boats, a miniature railway, dungeons, funny mirrors, slippery dip, pitch and putt, jungle world, children’s playground, an animal and bird park and Wax Work figures.
Iceford Riding Stables
Horse riding lessons for beginners to advanced, treks and beach rides and children’s camps. Catering for children of 6 years and older.

Gem of a boutique hotel I have experienced exemplary quality service from every member of the friendly and accommodating Team.
A wonderful place to go for a relaxing couple of hours for lunch or dinner . It has to be the most beautiful view while you sit there and eat the great food .
Room was clean warm and comfortable. Food was amazing. Fresh and tasty and cooked to our liking. It was a very peaceful comfortable break with amazing views and very friendly staff.
